Problem Statement
Individuals with muscular dystrophy experience progressive muscular weakness, which makes independent living challenging over time. This has an impact on their psycho-social health and creates stress for caregivers.
Solution
This project enables individuals with muscular dystrophy to access computers and other accessories using a sensory input device that overrides hand weakness.
Outcomes
Individuals with muscular dystrophy would gain dignity and empowerment as they become more independent and less reliant on their caregivers through the use of the sensory input device.
