You can participate on the platform by (1) Sharing or browsing problem statements, (2) Sharing your ideas and taking part in discussions with others, (3) Joining or forming project teams to develop your ideas into working solutions, and (4) Sharing your solutions and stories on ideAble to benefit the community.
We offer a community platform where active collaborations can be hosted and effective project teams can be formed. Through this platform, users can connect with like-minded innovators and contribute their relevant skillsets to co-create meaningful solutions which tackle challenges faced by persons with disabilities.

Yes, to better facilitate the engagements between different stakeholders, a simple account registration is required to access ideAble’s functions and features. Sign up for an account here.
Yes, we welcome all to participate and co-innovate to create better solutions for persons with disabilities.
No, ideAble is free for all to use. You only need to create an account to join this platform, and you can do so here.

Sign up for an individual account first and log into it. As you set up your profile, you will receive a notification to create an organisation account, through which you can co-create with your colleagues who are also on ideAble.
We would strongly encourage you to do so, as the information you provide will help us recommend problem statements and projects according to your interests.
After logging in, you can submit a new problem statement from the Problem Statements page. Before publication on the platform, the problem statements will be reviewed by the Community Managers. There is no limit to the number of problem statements you can submit. However, where possible, similar problem statements will be merged with existing ones on ideAble.
You can create a project team or join an existing one under your identified problem statement. There are no limitations and you can participate in as many projects as you want.
You can do so from the projects section of your dashboard, or from your project page.
The project team would own the intellectual property of their projects. We would encourage all members on the platform to adopt an open-source approach for the solutions derived where possible to encourage adoption, customisation and continued refinements of these solutions.
