Problem Statement
Children with special needs have limited learning opportunities outside of school as most mainstream digital and physical storybooks are not adapted to their learning needs.
Solution
Blended Concept's interactive and inclusive digital storybooks and companion games promote dialogical reading* for children with special needs and improve caregivers’ competencies in communicating with their children.
*Dialogic reading is an interactive style of reading and storytelling that promotes brain development and imagination in children while improving their language and social-emotion skills.
Outcomes
Caregivers, teachers and therapists can continue supporting the growth and development of children with special needs outside of school with dialogical resources adapted to meet the learning needs of a wider spectrum of disabilities.
