Graduate Research Innovation Programme (GRIP)

Tech Able is an assistive technology centre jointly managed by SG Enable and SPD. It aims to promote the adoption of assistive technologies, so as to enable persons with disabilities to live, travel, learn and work independently.

The Community Leadership And Social Innovation Centre curates, tracks and optimises social innovation projects carried out in collaboration with community partners.

School of X offers a variety of resources and guides such as Design Toolkits and Blueprint Templates (under Actionable Tools) to help you design solutions that tackle community challenges.

They offer workshops such as sewing and pattern making, digital design, bags and accessories and customised projects. There are also places available for people to work and hold workshops.

MakerSpaces or facilities for crafting, sewing and photography are available.

Meeting rooms of different sizes equipped with productivity tools are available.

An in-house sewing studio that is equipped with professional and industrial-grade facilities.

The Cocoon Space (a Textile and Fashion Federation initiative)

Affordable and spacious makerspaces for rent that are perfect for anyone starting out.

Open Fields SG

They offer meeting rooms, storage space, private offices, high-speed Internet, a tool resource centre, a co-working area and a business service and pitch stage. 

Mettle Work

They offer machines such as vinyl cutting, digital embroidery, fabric painting, 3D printing and laser cutting for public use. Booking is required and chargeable on an hourly basis.

The Fab Lab Pte Ltd

Make So offers workshops for Makers and Crafters, host Craft Parties for celebrations, team-bonding, private & corporate events. Their goal is to find creative solutions to your ideas and they have the tools, equipment and know-how to support you.

Built by and for geeks, nerds, inventors, engineers, and entrepreneurs, HackerspaceSG is the Singapore hacker community's home, living room and laboratory. It offers Makerbot Cupcake CNC 3D printer, Flashforge Creator 3D printer, RIPE Atlas Probe and Development Board Banks.

Sustainable Living Lab is a local sustainability consultancy and innovation lab. They develop impactful, sustainable solutions. Their expertise is in utilising technology as a lever for sustainability and following a community-driven approach for implementation.

Lionsforge offers training programmes for members of the public to learn and try different laser cutting techniques. They also sell Craftlasers and related accessories.

In this makerspace, Engineering Good:

Makerspace @ Engineering Good

Within its premises, the following machines are available for rental: Laser Cutting Machines, 3D Printers, 3D Scanner and PCB Milling Machine. Other tools available include CNC Milling Machine, Vacuum former, Sublimation printer, Inkjet printer/cutter, Soldering station, Hand Tools and Powered Tools.

Make N Play Studio offers a place to find your creative instinct, develop a creative mindset, foster your creative courage and exercise your creative muscle through fun and interesting Maker workshops, innovation challenges and cool new technologies.

Individualised expert instruction, guidance, and mentorship are available at this makerspace. It also has meeting spaces equipped with tools like a 3D printer, laser cutter, vacuum former, soldering station, electronics workstation, and more. 

TinkerTanker

A dedicated space with tools, equipment, and hardware kits that enables individuals to learn, tinker and create, in both digital and traditional fabrication. There are meeting spaces and 3D printers for members of the public who are interested to try their hands at creating tech and media products and crafts.

MakeIT @ NLB

A fully equipped makerspace with onsite technicians, business mentorship, private spacious cubicles and meeting spaces. It also has tools like 3D Printers and Laser Cutters, Hand Tools and Powered Tools.

Google for Nonprofits enables non-profit organisations to leverage Google’s products to work more collaboratively and efficiently, reach more donors online, engage supporters and demonstrate the organisation’s impact on a global level.

Microsoft is looking for individuals or teams who are not only passionate about making the world more inclusive, but also firmly rooted in the communities they intend to benefit. The Enabling Lives Initiative (ELI) Grant is a $20 million funding by Tote Board that is managed by SG Enable. It supports projects across three focus areas of Living Independently, Realising Potentials and Connecting Communities. The ELI Grant brings together the best ideas from the community of non-profit organisations, social enterprises and innovators to create scalable, impactful innovations to improve the quality of life of persons with disabilities.
